How do you price your creation?
An artist friend ever told me that handmade items should be priced justifiably - if one can't pay the price she quotes, she'll rather not sell her sculpture - only the maker knows how much sweat it takes to complete her creation. On the same note, Lady Nic's handmade creations are unique items. I may not be well-known, but they are originally designed and created painstakingly with careful hands and lots of sincerity. It takes a lot of effort to source for materials and at times, many hours are spent on making a piece. Though I can't stop others to take a free ride by copying any designs at Lady Nic's, what you get here are guaranteed with originality. On top of that, most of my creations are either one-offs or limited to a small number of pieces. To answer the question straightforwardly, I tag my creation according to the types of materials used (eg. gemstones and fresh water pearls are definitely more costly than acrylic beads), and how intricate it is to make and craft them.

Can I request to alter the length of necklaces/bracelets to fit me?
Most necklaces and bracelets (other than those come with toggle closure) end with an extention chain that gives the piece an extra length of approximately 6cm (If that is still not long enough, you may email me with your request). For pieces with toggle closure, additional length of chain can be added to lengthen with NO additional cost as a service. Similarly, pieces can be shorthen to fit the wearer. Earrings fit all sizes of ears!

How long do I have to wait for my purchases to arrive?
Items will be shipped within two days after payment is made. For international shipments, please allow 3-12 days for delivery, depending on the destinations. Delays at customs is beyond my control. Please allow room for longer delivery time during festive seasons. Registered Mail requires an additional 2 days as it is a recorded delivery service.

About shipping and handling - how much to pay?
Here at Lady Nic's, we charge a minimum flat rate for the first 2 pieces, just add S$0.50 for any additional piece (applicable to both local and international purchases). So it makes sense to combine shipment! Local - S$1 (normal) S$3 (registered mail) Any other countries a flat rate of S$6 (approx US$4.80)(registered airmail to ensure parcel reaches you) Registered mail mode is highly reccomended for both local and international shipment. Local buyers who choose normal mail mode is AT YOUR OWN RISK of having parcel lost in transit. By default, S$1 normal postage is added during checkout. If you are opting for registered mail mode (highly reccomended), drop me a note at the comments box during checkout and buyer adds S$2 more (post office charges S$2 for registered mail) when making fund transfer. For international shipment, registered mail mode is mandatory to minimize the risk of lost mail. In the case of parcel lost in transit, it is possible to track its whereabout with a reference number provided by SingPost (which I will provide to buyers after parcel is mailed). Post offices will take on the responsibility of recovering the parcel. If insurance is required by international buyers, please advise. Buyers will bear the cost.

How do I care for my purchases?
a) Rule of thumb - put accessories on AFTER makeup & applying perfume, hairspray, moisturiser, and take them off BEFORE doing anything else when you reach home. DO NOT swim with your accessories on (chlorine blackens them). b) Wipe down with a clean dry cloth. DO NOT wash under running water as moisture causes plated jewellery to rust/tarnish (makeup & skin oils also), rhinestones will become dull and glue/threads/cords will weaken with accumulation of water. c) Store accessories only after they are completely dried. And store them separately as some materials are harder than others and may scratch the softer ones.
